Michelle Trettenero, LAc, at Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center

About this Nominee

Daniel Tao, DAOM, Lac, is a doctor of acupuncture and oriental medicine and partners with patients to address and work toward their overall general health maintenance goals. He can also address chronic pain and substance abuse issues. Dr. Tao empowers patients by using traditional Chinese medicine and Daoist Spiritual Medicine for holistic wellness. Those practices together help to emphasize the interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit, and aim to restore balance and harmony.

Michelle Trettenero, LAc, has a treatment style that blends Eastern and Western disciplines, resulting in treatment that is carefully chosen to individualize the specific needs of her patients. She treats a variety of conditions such as pain management, migraines, digestive issues, gynecological disorders and more. During each visit she ensures patients are progressing toward their wellness goals so they can regain a healthy life through acupuncture.

Together, our acupuncturists offer a comprehensive approach to help a wide range of patients. They will create an individualized plan to optimize patients’ results and satisfaction.

We treat everyone, Native and non-Native alike, and are continually accepting new patients. Our facility gladly accepts Medicare plans including Part B and Railroad, Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal Managed plans and many major PPO insurances. If you have specific questions about covered care, please contact your insurance company. If you are uninsured or struggling to pay for services, we also may be able to assist you with our sliding fee scale program.
